Albion captain Gordon Greer has urged the Amex faithful to replicate against Derby in the play-offs the atmosphere created by the away fans at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Greer experienced for himself the difference the supporters can make in the last-gasp 2-1 win at the City Ground, then saw Crystal Palace galvanised to come from 3-0 down in Monday's 3-3 draw with title-chasing Liverpool in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.
Now Greer is hoping for the same sort of backing in tomorrow night's first leg at home to Derby.
He told The Argus: "I watched the (Palace) game. Their supporters have had a lot of credit this year for the way they have conducted themselves and on Saturday away at Forest the support we got was unbelievable.
"You could hear them throughout the whole game and when we scored that second goal the players and fans were delighted. We were really delighted we managed to do it for them as well.
"People talk about the 12th man and the supporters. It's really important they get behind the team and give us support."
Tickets are now on general sale for the Amex leg.
