Rohan Ince is on course to return to contention for Albion at promoted leaders Leicester tomorrow night.
The defensive midfielder has resumed training at the Seagulls' St George's Park base since Saturday's 0-0 stalemate at Barnsley.
Ince missed the game with a dead leg which led to him being substituted at half-time in last week's 3-3 draw at Blackburn.
He could be one of only four survivors from the starting line-up when Albion beat Leicester 3-1 at the Amex at the start of December - the Foxes' last defeat in the Championship.
The absentees include goalscorers Ashley Barnes and Craig Conway, who, together with Liam Bridcutt are no longer at the club, injured Andrew Crofts and the suspended Bruno.
The latter completes a two-match ban for ten bookings but will be available for Saturday's home game against relegation-threatened Charlton.
