Boss John Gregory admitted there was no justice as Crawley slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Port Vale.

Reds squandered a string of good chances in the first half as they only went in 1-0 ahead at the break courtesy of Billy Clarke's penalty.

Vale made them pay for their profligacy when Billy Knott equalised early in the second half with a stunning 20 yard shot.

Reds had further chances to retake the lead before Dannie Bulman was sent off and that proved a turning point as former Albion midfielder Doug Loft grabbed a winner with ten minutes to go with a shot which squirmed under Paul Jones' body.

Gregory said: "There doesn't seem to be much justice with us at the moment. It is hard to find words to explain it after a result like that.

"It was a magnificent performance and the result wasn't the right one. Even when we were down to ten men we were still in control of the game but football is all about winning.

"We played some of the best football since I have been at the club but it is driving me crasy that we are missing so many opportunities."
