Rory Fallon makes only his second start for Crawley at Port Vale tonight with top scorer Matt Tubbs still sidelined by a hamstring injury.
The former Plymouth striker’s only previous start came in the 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury last month when he was taken off in the second half.
He is preferred to Jamie Proctor as Billy Clarke’s strike partner with seven-goal Tubbs not recovered from the hamstring strain which ruled him out of the 1-0 defeat at Preston on Saturday.
The only other change for Crawley comes in defence with Paul Connolly making his third start for Reds since joining from Millwall in February.
He comes in at right-back with Josh Simpson pushed forward into midfield. Sergio Torres drops to the bench as a result.
Port Vale make one change from the team which drew 1-1 at Stevenage on Saturday, Jennison Myrie-Williams replacing Chris Birchall on the right—hand side of midfield.
Port Vale (4-4-2): Johnson; Duffy, Robertson, Davis, Jones; Myrie-Williams, Knott, Lines, Loft; Pope, Tomlin. Subs: Dickinson, Yates, Dodds, Taylor, Griffth, Birchall, Hugill.
Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; P Connolly, M Connolly, Walsh, Sadler; Simpson, Drury, Bulman, M Jones; Clarke, Fallon. Subs: Maddison, Torres, Boateng, Kaikai, Dicker, Proctor, Monakana.
