Stephen Ward has backed Albion to revive their challenge for the play-offs at one of his happy hunting grounds.
The Seagulls face Blackburn Rovers in their game in hand tonight at Ewood Park, where on-loan Ward scored in a Premier League win for Wolves two seasons ago.
He also helped Wanderers to a rare away win at Blackburn last season when they were relegated from the Championship.
Albion head for Blackburn after a hat-trick of defeats four points outside the play-offs, with away games to follow in the next seven days at third-bottom Barnsley and champions-elect Leicester.
Ward told The Argus: “We should have no fear about going away for the next three games. There’s going to be a lot of probably negative stuff because of the last week but this league is so strange you can turn things around so quickly.
“The beauty of it is we have a chance to rectify things in the last eight games and get ourselves right back in the hunt.
“All it would take would be a result tonight and then we go to Barnsley on Saturday with a great chance of getting into the play-offs.”
