Albion could have their biggest crowd of the season for Saturday's visit by fellow Championship play-off chasers Ipswich Town.
The Seagulls' highest gate so far at the Amex in the current campaign was 28,282 for Bournemouth's visit on New Year's Day.
The last home game against Queens Park Rangers also attracted a 28,000 plus attendance as the promotion race hots up.
Saturday's figure will be swelled by nearly 1,800 visiting supporters making the journey from Suffolk.
The Amex record is 30,003 against Wolves for the last game of last season.
The second leg of the play-offs against Crystal Palace attracted 29,518.
The biggest crowd to watch Albion this season was 33,432 at Elland Road for the opening day defeat by Leeds.
