Crawley have been told their famous victory over Wolves will mean nothing unless they back it up at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

Reds produced a superb performance to topple the League One leaders on Tuesday and continue their impressive record against the top teams in the division this season.

John Gregory's side have lost just once - against MK Dons - in nine games against clubs in the top ten since the former Aston Villa boss took over the reins at the start of December. That is in contrast to their record against sides below them in the table having taken five points from recent matches against Stevenage, Gillingham, Shrewsbury and Colchester United.

Oldham are currently just two points above the relegation zone in 18th place and first team coach Guy Whittingham says victory at Boundary Park is vital if they are to build on the momentum created by the result against Wolves. Whittingham said: “We've done well against teams above us this season but we've got to keep picking up points against the other teams too. It is natural that whenever you play a team at the top of the league that players tend to raise their game but we've got to make sure our game is right for Saturday now."
