Mike Jones insists Crawley have nothing to fear as they prepare to tackle the most in-form team in League One.

Wolves arrive at the Checkatrade.com Stadium tonight targeting a tenth league win in their last 11 matches to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

Kenny Jackett’s men have been in unstoppable form since mid-January when they were initially meant to come to Sussex only for the match to be postponed.

Crawley have toppled the team sitting on top of League One twice already this season when they won at Peterborough back in August and again at Leyton Orient in December.

Jones has challenged Reds to claim an even bigger scalp tonight in front of what will be a record league crowd at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

The midfielder said: “Every footballer wants to play in front of as big a crowd as possible so we’re all really looking forward to it.

“Wolves are a big club and it would be great for us if we could beat them. Wolves shouldn’t be anywhere near this level but it is great for us to pit our wits against them.

“Sometimes we seem to step up our performances against the better teams in this league so it is certainly one we are thinking we can win.

“We proved against Peterborough and Orient that on our day we can beat anyone so we are certainly not scared of them.

“They’ve got a massive squad with some really good players who are far too good for this level if we’re honest but we will give it our best shot. Nothing is impossible.

“They have got the best squad and the best players in the division and that is why they are sitting at the top of the table. Hopefully they will get back to the Championship as they are obviously far too good for this league but it is a great chance for us to play them and enjoy it.”
