Albion striker Jon Obika has been recalled by Spurs and sent straight back out on loan to Charlton.
It means Obika could now line up against the Seagulls for his latest loan club at the Amex on April 12.
Obika's 93-day stint with Albion was not due to end until April 11 but his opportunities have been limited and both Will Hoskins and Craig Mackail-Smith are now easing back towards first team contention.
Knee op victim Hoskins scored, had a penalty save and set up a late winner for Dylan Barnett as the development team beat Bournemouth 2-1 in a friendly at Withdean this afternoon.
Mackail-Smith played the first half on his comeback from a groin tear which interrupted his return from almost a year out with Achilles and ankle injuries.
Mackail-Smith said: "I was trying to nick a few minutes in the second half as well but they weren't having it! It was nice to get another run-out. I felt a lot better this time around than I did when I first came back, sharper and stronger, and I had a couple of chances which was nice."
