Albion stuck twice in the last 13 minutes to stun QPR – and put their play-off bid right back on course.
The Seagulls got through a lot of defending in their 2-0 home win.
And they pounced with devastating effect to claim a momentous result.
Leo Ulloa stretched to prod home a superb Bruno cross on 77 minutes after the full-back had worked a clever one-two with Keith Andrews.
Then Stephen Ward turned home Kazenga LuaLua’s 86th minute corner.
QPR were generally on top in terms of possession and chances.
But Tomasz Kuszczak tipped over a Ravel Morrison blast and then finger-tipped away an angled drive by the same player.
There were numerous escapes in the home penalty area but the Seagulls, who did not muster an on-target effort until the 68th minute worked hard – and then pounced.
