Albion have handed winger Will Buckley his first Championship start of 2014.
And, as expected, Lewis Dunk comes in for Gordon Greer for the home clash with QPR.
Buckley replaces David Lopez on the right while centre-back Greer is banned for one match after being dismissed for two yellow cards against Reading on Saturday.
Dunk has not started a league game since Millwall visited just before Christmas last season.
But he featured in all four FA Cup ties this term, playing the full 90 minutes against Port Vale and Hull (both games) having come on midway through the second half against Reading.
Buckley’s last league start was in the 1-0 win at Blackpool on December 29, when he limped off with hamstring trouble.
He has been in and out of the side since then and looked lively as a sub in the 1-1 league draw with Reading.
Albion are still without midfielder Andrea Orlandi (thigh) but Dale Stephens returns to the bench after a foot injury.
Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, Dunk, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Ince, Forster-Caskey; Buckley, Lingard, Ulloa. Subs: Ankergren, Calderon, Rodriguez, LuaLua, Stephens, March, David Lopez.
