Eagles skipper Cameron Woodward reckons things could get very competitive in The Argus Sussex Championship.
The Aussie racer insists there will be no holding back in the individual meeting tomorrow.
Woodward will be among the favourites for top spot, alongside Bjarne Pedersen, Edward Kennett and Lewis Bridger.
He said: “Lewis, Ed and Bjarne are going to be tough, as are the rest of my team mates.
“I definitely want to win it. Will it be a proper competition? Oh God yeah! We are mates and we want to beat each other. I think there might be some really interesting races.”
Racing gets under way at 3.30pm and fans will have a 35-race feast of action.
The senior event is over 15 heats with a final. There will also be junior championships for 500cc riders and a 125cc class.
After the 24 heats of speedway, there are ten heats and a final for the quads championship.
Once the track action is over, there is a party and disco in the clubroom when fans can mix with the riders.
They will also hear who has been named Eastbourne’s rider of the year. Voting slips will be given to spectators with their programmes when they enter the stadium.
The event is all-pay.
Bjarne Pedersen, Cameron Woodward, Mikkel Michelsen, Kim Nilsson, Timo Lahti, Simon Gustafsson, Lewis Bridger, Edward Kennett, Jakub Jamrog, Lewis Blackbird, Kenneth Hansen and one other will contest the title.
Normal prices apply including the Argus kids-a-quid offer. Look out for special posters if you buy The Argus at the stadium.
