Albion's midfield options have been restricted further by a fresh injury for Kemy Agustien.
The Dutchman is expected to miss Nottingham Forest's visit tomorrow night with a calf problem.
Agustien made his comeback as a second half substitute from a four-match absence caused by injury and illness in Tuesday's 1-1 home draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Leo Ulloa, out for two months with a broken a bone in his left foot, had minor surgery yesterday to have a small screw inserted.
Long-term striker casualties Craig Mackail-Smith (ankle) and Will Hoskins (knee) are expected back in late November and next spring respectively.
