Keith Andrews salvaged a late equaliser for Albion tonight – but there are injury concerns over Leo Ulloa.
The returning striker was stretchered off with an as yet unspecified foot or ankle injury in the second half of tonight’s undistinguished 1-1 home draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Ulloa stayed down after twisting on to a pass and immediately left the action.
He has gone for scan tonight and is believed to have a fracture of the left foot.
The Argentinean and David Lopez had earlier been guilty of failing to convert through balls in the first half.
Wednesday sensed their first win of the season after new boy Matty Fryatt turned to shoot home from a low cross by Jeremy Helan.
Tomasz Kuszczak kept Albion in the game with a save from Helan before Andrews struck on the volley when Andrew Crofts’ cross was headed back across goal by Stephen Ward on 89 minutes.
