Albion could have Jake Forster-Caskey back in their starting line-up for Sheffield Wednesday's visit tomorrow night.
Fellow central midfielder Kemy Agustien is also available after missing the last four matches.
Forster-Caskey made a sooner than expected return from a groin injury as a late substitute in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Ipswich.
Head coach Oscar Garcia said: "It was a surprise that he could play, but he felt fine the day before the game. We thought he could help us, so he was on the bench and played some minutes.
"We knew he couldn't play for many minutes after the injury."
A combination of hamstring and groin injuries and illness have sidelined Dutchman Agustien since the Millwall game at the end of August.
Oscar said: "Yesterday he trained 100 per cent. Today he feels okay. He will be available."
