Inigo Calderon reckons Albion's comeback win against Bolton will be great for confidence.
The right-back's volley put the Seagulls ahead in their 3-1 success at The Amex.
Albion were 1-0 down at half-time but recovered to complete their first comeback victory in more than two years.
Calderon said: “From now on we know if they score we can come back.
“We weren't brilliant in the first half but we did more than them.
“The got a cheap goal and it was like a typical game at The Amex.
“In the second half we just tried to keep doing the same, maybe just be more clinical.
“We had corners and crosses in the first half but really didn't create chances to score.”
Calderon reckons Albion improved after their half-time meeting with head coach Oscar Garcia.
He added: “We were doing all right in the first half - but just all right.
“We needed to take a step forward."
