Oscar Garcia praised his side’s second-half improvement against Millwall today.
But he admitted Albion took too long to get into their stride.
Leo Ulloa grabbed a late goal to force a 1-1 draw.
Oscar said: “I think we wasted the first 45 minutes and we only started to play in the second half.
"It is difficult to win if you only play for 45 minutes.
“I think in the second half we played as we have to play with the correct mentality and correct attitude.
“I liked my team in the second half.”
Oscar felt Ulloa was unfortunate to have a goal ruled out for pushing.
He said: “Maybe in the middle of the pitch it wasn’t a foul.
“It’s a referee's decision. It’s not easy. He had to decide in one second.”
