Rohan Ince is back in midfield as Albion chase a home win against Burnley today.
Ince retuns in place of Keith Andrews, who is not in the 18 to face the undefeated Clarets.
There is as yet no indication as to why Andrews does not feature.
Ashley Barnes has failed to recover from a hip injury sustained at Birmingham last week.
Andrea Orlandi (knee) and Bruno (hamstring) have been absent since the opening day defeat at Leeds.
Burnley suffered a major blow in midweek with news winger Ross Wallace requires knee surgery.
They leave their other wideman Junior Stanislas on the bench and bring in Keith Treacy and Scott Arfield as their two changes to the XI which started last week’s hard-fought 2-0 home success over Yeovil.
Treacy and Arfield both impressed that day coming off the bench.
