Solly March grabbed centre stage as Albion ended their pre-season schedule on a relative high tonight.
The Seagulls came from behind to draw 1-1 with Norwich City.
They claimed the result they deserved on 83 minutes when young March cut in from the right and unleashed a superb left-foot drive across goalkeeper John Ruddy and into the far top corner.
His goal brought most of a crowd of 10,622 to their feet – and confirmed him as a popular man of the match choice.
City arguably had the better of the first half and went ahead when Jonny Howson turned in a tempting cross from the impressive Nathan Redmond.
Bruno needed treatment after being caught late by Javier Garrido in the first half but was able to continue and Albion did not appear to pick up any injuries.
The only player to get a full 90 minutes was Vitalijs Maksimenko at left-back.
David Lopez and Kemy Agustien were among the many players to get 45 minutes.
