Luke Wright continued his fine form with the bat as Sussex got their Twenty20 campaign up and running with a 24-run win over Middlesex at Lord's today.
Wright cracked 81 from 49 balls in a first wicket partnership of 84 with Chris Nash (45) and Rory Hamilton-Brown weighed in with 47 as Sussex reached 202-3 from their 20 overs.
Middlesex were up with the rate but could only muster 178-8 as Mike Yardy took 3-30 and Chris Jordan 2-29.
Sussex lost their first match of the new campaign against Surrey at Hove on Friday.
