Gus Poyet is in the running for the Football League's Championship manager of the month award.
The Albion boss has been shorlisted with Chris Powell of Charlton and Dougie Freedman of Bolton for the April prize.
Poyet guided the Seagulls into fourth place, booking their play-off place in their sixth and final game of an unbeaten month with a win at Leeds.
Powell capped an impressive return to the second tier for the Addicks wth six unbeaten games in April as they recorded three wins and three draws, one of them at The Amex.
Bolton were in a play-off place at the end of April after taking 13 points in the month.
The player of the month award is a three-way contest between Charlton right-back Chris Solly, Bolton playmaker Chris Eagles and Huddersfield marksman James Vaughan, who scored five times in the month to help the Terriers to safety.
