Gus Poyet admits Albion fulfilled a dream by reaching the Championship play-offs.
The Seagulls made sure their season will be extended with a dramatic 2-1 win at Leeds today.
Poyet said: “We are delighted. I think it was probably at the beginning of the season a dream.
“We knew we were a better team than last season but we knew this Championship gets more and more difficult.
“There are better teams, plenty of parachute payments, new owners, plenty of money around and it is getting very difficult to get up.
“I think the effort and the quality we have shown over 45 games has been a pleasure to watch.
“Today we had the opportunity and somehow in a game that was incredible we took it and that was the most important thing.”
Albion will assess right-back Bruno tomorrow afer he left the action with a calf injury.
