Leo Ulloa scored the 87th-minute winner which ensured Albion are heading to the play-offs.
But they could face full-back problems after an eventful 2-1 success at Leeds today.
Bruno limped off with a calf injury and his substitute Inigo Calderon was red-carded for a professional foul as he conceded the penalty from which El Hadji Diouf cancelled out Will Buckley’s early opener.
Diouf’s celebration, believed to include gestures to Albion fans, after the goal earnt him a straight red on the advice of an assistant referee, reducing the hosts to nine men.
They had midfielder Rodolph Austin sent-off on 13 minutes for catching Ashley Barnes with a flailing arm.
That came three minutes after Buckley slid the Seagulls ahead after latching on to Tom Lees’ weak back pass.
But the Seagulls, missing the injured Liam Bridcutt and Wayne Bridge, struggled to get the game under control.
Andrea Orlandi, standing in at left-back in the second half after Marcos Painter was withdrawn, provided the cross from which Ulloa headed home from close range.
