Actress Sydney Sweeney has sparked engagement rumours after being seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The Euphoria star was out and about in Encino, California on Monday (February 28) when the ring was spotted.

Entertainment Today reported that Sweeney hasn't confirmed her relationship with restauranteur Jonathan Davino, whom she's been linked to since at least 2018.

Just last month, Sweeney opened up in an interview for Cosmopolitan's "Love Issue" about why she doesn't date anyone in the entertainment industry.

She said: "I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest.

She added: "I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of."
