Holly Willoughby will return to This Morning's presenting team on Wednesday, March 23 after having missed recent days of programming due to a positive Covid test.
As reported by The Metro, Willoughby first tested positive on March 13, which came just days after co-host Phillip Schofield contracted the virus.
Since then Schofield has presented alongside Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson in her absence, but he gave an update on Tuesday morning’s programme.
He said: "We’re pleased to say that she’s [received a] negative [test] and she will be back tomorrow!"
On Monday's show, it did seem at first that Willoughby might miss her second week of episodes, as she was still getting back positive Covid tests.
Schofield had said on the show at the time: "Welcome to your Monday this morning, Josie is back! I’ve been texting Holly all through the weekend and she’s absolutely fine.
"She just has that incredibly persistent and annoying red line that won’t go away. So she’ll be sitting at home – it’s driving her crazy."
Willoughby had not given many updates on what she had been up to during her self-isolation period except for an Instagram post of her basking in the sun on Saturday.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
