Deliveroo are pausing their delivery service today (Friday, February 18) as Storm Eunice moves through the UK.
Red weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for areas of south-east and south-west England and sections of Wales.
As wind speeds in these areas could reach up to 90mph, the food delivery service are stopping orders in the interest of safety for their couriers.
A note on the Deliveroo app reads: "We’ll be back delivering again when is safe to do so.
"In the interest of keeping riders safe, our service is not available at the moment due to a red weather warning.
"We’ll be available again as soon as it’s safe to do so."
A Deliveroo spokesperson said: "In the interest of keeping riders safe, Deliveroo’s service is not available in London and the South East or Wales, and areas of the South West, at the moment due to the red weather warning and adverse conditions.
"We will continue to monitor the situation and remain in close contact with our partners and riders to let them know when we plan to reopen these areas."
Uber Eats has also stopped deliveries.
A message on the Uber Eats app reads: "Uber Eats is currently unavailable in your area due to bad weather. For courier safety."
