The singer from Brighton band Phats and Small has broken his silence after a TV star confirmed their split.
Vanessa Feltz's ex fiance Ben Ofoedu has spoken out after the broadcaster announced their split on her Instagram on Sunday.
Ben, 50, was engaged to This Morning agony aunt Vanessa, 60, for 16 years.
He broke his silence on their split by sharing a broken heart emoji on his Instagram story.
The singer is best known for appearing in the music video of 1999 smash hit Turn Around, which was filmed in and around Brighton.
There are claims the 50-year-old had an affair, and Vanessa alluded to this by saying “once the trust in a relationship is gone you can’t really get it back".
She told The Sun that Ben, who performed with the band for a number of years, had moved out of their home.

Vanessa is a regular poster on the social media platform Instagram, however in recent weeks her account had been nearly dormant.
But she posted an emotional video on Sunday, holding back the tears as she shared the news with her followers.
“I haven’t been on Instagram for three weeks and that’s because my relationship with Ben is over after 16 years and I honestly didn’t know what to say to you on Instagram.
“And so I just wanted to say obviously I feel incredibly sad and I’m pretty disappointed and shocked and all those horrible things but also full of resolve.
“I am not going to let this defeat me.”
