MORE than 200 cannabis plants have been seized in a drugs raid at a property earlier today.
Officers were called to a home in Whitley Road, Eastbourne on Thursday August 26 after receiving reports of suspicious activity.
They then returned this morning, Friday August 27, at around 9.30am where they remained for about three hours as they bagged up and removed evidence.
They seized 108 cannabis plants and 156 sapling cannabis plants from inside the property.
Pictures taken this morning show search teams and scene of crime officers bringing out bags of evidence filled with the plants.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said that enquiries are still ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
