A CAR ploughed through a brick wall before three men fled the scene.
Pictures show the aftermath of the collision in which the car crashed into the garden wall at 10.30pm on Saturday in Hartfield Road, Eastbourne.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "At 10.30pm on Saturday 31 July a car collided with a brick wall in Hartfield Road, Eastbourne, and three men ran off.
"The driver was later traced and enquiries continue."
Remains of the wall can be seen scattered throughout the garden and the car is severely damaged with the bonnet crumpled and the bumper hanging off.
A tow truck was seen removing the vehicle as police attended the scene.
