Ritu and her colleagues run the busy Chichester Orthodontic Clinic, the home of perfect teeth and healthy gums.

Ritu qualified as a dentist at Guys Hospital, and worked in general practice as well as for the hospital service for several years before training in orthodontics at Kings College Hospital and The Royal Surrey County Hospital.

She said: “My philosophy is to have a personal, friendly and professional approach to the care of all my patients. Very few people are born with what you could describe as perfect teeth, but thanks to modern techniques that can be changed.”

Ritu is interested in modern, progressive orthodontic techniques such as lingual braces and clear aligners which give the best treatment outcomes in the most discrete way possible.

She regularly attends professional development courses to update her skills.

She has worked in the hospital service most of her professional life and is part of the orthodontic team at St Richards Hospital, dividing her professional time between her specialist practice and the hospital service.

She is also involved in teaching trainee orthodontists, dentists and nurses.

Working alongside Ritu at the practice is Dr Jane Cliff, a specialist in orthodontics, who qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 2005. There is also a full team of nurses and practice managers who all share Ritu’s philosophy.
