Teenage girls get ready – Sussex’s answer to One Direction are about to go big.
Boy band South 4, two members of which hail from the county, have just signed a reported £1 million record deal with the Eagle Music label.
The band is made up of 19-year-old Brightonian Oli Evans, 18-year-old Shoreham lad Luke Newton and their mates Joel Baylis and Henry Tredinnick. The four met while studying at Brit School, which has produced the likes of Adele, Jessie J and The Kooks.
Following years of hard work perfecting their vocals and looks, the lads are now set to release their debut single Cougar Town.
Oli said: “We’re really excited about the single. We think it will one of the hits of the summer.
