A yacht moored at Brighton Marina started sinking after taking on hundreds of gallons of water.
Fire and Coastguard crews were called to the marina at 10.20am today following reports the 30ft vessel in one of the berths was developing problems.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were able to get the equipment needed to the scene very quickly and liaised with the Coastguard to pump the water out.”
The cost of the damage done to the boat is still being assessed.
