Marisa May, 25, from Crawley was among a group of university friends who used the London festivities as an excuse for a reunion.
She said the said the cold weather was a good excuse to wear her warm dinosaur costume, which she accessorised with a cardboard gold crown.
Waving a banner declaring "Jubileesaurus says what up Lizzy", Ms May said: "It was either this or be cold and I really wanted to come.
“Today is a reunion for us and we really wanted to see the Queen, she's a British tradition."
