Police have been joined by volunteers in searches in nearby woods for missing Horsham woman Jennifer Marsh.
Ms Marsh, 59, of Littlehaven Lane, Horsham, has been missing from home since Wednesday.
A member of the public said she was seen in Leechpool Woods at 11.20am that day.
Sussex Police said if that was Jennifer this would have been the last reported sighting of her.
Officers searched those woods and Owlbeech Woods on Friday night and overnight into Saturday.
West Sussex Neighbourhood Watch search unit and Sussex Search and Rescue team joined the search today.
Insp Rob McPhilemy, of Sussex Police, said:"We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jennifer and have stepped up searches in these areas.
"Jennifer is known to use these woods as well as Warnham nature reserve, Southwater Park and Chesworth Farm.
"Jennifer is on medication for diabetes and it is totally out of character for her to act in this way.
"I would ask anyone who has seen her or has any information to contact us on 101."
Ms Marsh is white, 5ft 10in, average build.
She has straight collar-length dark brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1705 of May 30.
