The Martlets Charity has opened a new shop in Woodingdean.
Situated in the former Ghazals supermarket in Warren Rd, the charity raises money for its hospice in Hove which helps people with cancer. It also has shops in Peacehaven and other parts of Brighton The shop initially opened for just three months but it is hoped that, if there is sufficient support, the shop will become a permanent feature in Woodingdean.
Selling a large range of furniture as well as clothes, CDs, wools, toy and other things that people have donated.
Anybody who has furniture or any other goods they would like to donate or who has a couple of hours a week to help out at the shop should contact the manager.
