A campervan was destroyed after catching fire on a major road.
Firefighters were called to a layby on the southbound carriage of the A23 near Hickstead at around 9.15pm last night.
They found the van well alight and a cordon had to be put around the area because the van had cylinders inside.
Drivers faced some delays while crews dealt with the blaze.
It is believed the fire started accidentally.
