FOR years, the first port of call after a Continental holiday where salads were the staple diet, was a visit to Harry’s English Restaurant in Church Road, Hove to re-educate my taste buds to traditional English comfort foods such as liver and bacon, steak and kidney pie and fry-up breakfasts to die for.
It was always such bliss after two weeks of lettuce.
Imagine my horror at discovering Harry’s has closed, with no new address. Where is Harry now? We miss you.
Doug Hillman, Rigden Road, Hove
Harry’s closed earlier this year due to rising costs, as reported in The Argus on March 12
