A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering a 40-year-old Brighton widower was told by police today that no action will be taken against him.
The man, also from Brighton, was arrested on April 30 after Jeffrey Burrow was found with stab wounds at his flat in Norfolk Square, Sussex Police said.
Mr Burrows was treated at the scene by paramedics following the stabbing on April 29 but was pronounced dead shortly after 9pm.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from stab wounds, a police spokesman said.
Adam White, 22, of Bedford Place, Liverpool, and Joel Elliott, 22, of North Road, Brighton, have been charged with murder and remanded in custody for a plea and case management hearing at Lewes Crown Court on July 6.
