A performer in the Lady Boys of Bangkok has come second in a modelling competition.
Angkookrat Rawangnam, known as Toon, pictured, was born a man but lives full time as a woman.
She came second in Brighton’s Next Hot Model – a competition to find the “hottest” men and women in the city.
The 26-year-old won praise from top model judge Sophie Anderton at the final.
She entered after seeing the competition in The Argus.
Organisers had no idea that Toon was born a man but after it was revealed said she could still compete in the final.
Toon lost out on first place to Nathalie Marsollier, who was named hottest woman.
Ryan Ball took home first prize in the men’s competition.
