“BRIGHTON and Hove needs a better tagline if the city is going to attract business and start-ups from elsewhere in the UK and abroad,” according to a recent article in The Argus (May 22).
“The location that makes business sense” is hardly inspiring for this dynamic and talented city.
Your article then goes on to say that Brighton and Hove City Council and its partners have hired consultants to develop a new website with re-branding and re-tagging.
It hasn’t, of course, disclosed how much this new consultative exercise is going to cost, or indeed what it has expended to date on the process.
Perhaps I could help save them a bit of money with the following suggested tagline: “Brighton up your future – invest in the place to be”.
Robin Tulley, Honey Croft, Hove
