Police are investigating a spate of burglaries where jewellery has been stolen.
Detective Constable Matthew Armstrong, of the East Sussex Priority Crime Team, warned Polegate residents to be on their guard after a series of break-ins.
The latest one was in Victoria Close in the early hours of May 16 when jewellery was taken.
DC Armstrong said: “There have been several similar burglaries in the Polegate area in recent weeks which we are actively investigating, and several leads are being followed.
“We would like local residents to let us know about any suspicious activity and to remember to keep their home secure and safe.”
Residents of business owners who are offered jewellery for sale are asked to contact police.
Anyone with information about the burglary should contact police on 101 quoting serial 1766 of 16/5.
