A man has been charged with the murder of a 40-year-old widower who was found stabbed to death at his seaside flat.

Jeffrey Burrows was killed at his home in Norfolk Square in Brighton, East Sussex, on April 29.

Adam White of Bedford Place, Liverpool, was charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

Joel Elliott, also 22, of North Road, Brighton, was charged on May 3 with murder.

He appeared at Lewes Crown Court on May 8 but did not enter a plea.

Elliott was remanded in custody and will next appear at the same court for a plea and case management hearing on July 6.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on April 30, on suspicion of murder and was released on bail until May 29 pending further inquiries.
