Regarding Brian Beck’s letter about wind turbines (The Argus, May 14), he asks: “How can wind power be the answer if you believe Co2 is the cause of global warming?”

Wind power is better for the atmosphere because it generates electricity without also contributing to the accumulation of Co2 in the atmosphere. It’s a no-brainer.

As for his other point, I personally have no problem with electricity firms being incentivised to create electricity without generating Co2.
