Schoolchildren passed on their Olympic torch in the latest stage of a citywide journey.
Pupils from West Blatchington Primary School passed on the “torch of friendship” to Aldrington Primary School.
The torch is being passed between 58 schools in Brighton and Hove in the build-up to the arrival in the city of the official Olympic torch on July 16.
That torch was passed from Greece to London at a ceremony in Athens yesterday, before being flown to Cornwall.
It is due to begin a 70-day, 8,000-mile journey around Britain from Land’s End tomorrow (May 19).
