One man is in hospital and another in police custody after a dog attack on Brighton beach.
More than a dozen officers were reportedly seen on the beach in response to a dog attack close to the Palace Pier at around 6am today (May 18).
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and was unconscious when paramedics were called.
A 40-year-old man from Brighton is in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a dog dangerously out of control, possession of a bladed article and possession of class A drugs.
