A llama is placing his bets on the Champions League final tomorrow (May 19).
Nicholas the llama’s quiet life at the Ashdown Forest Llama Park has been kicked into the media spotlight, as Chelsea fans hope his prediction is correct.
Park owner Linda Johnson said: “He has always been keen on football and then it’s all just got a bit carried away recently.”
Nicholas correctly predicted the outcome of the recent FA Cup final, so staff at the park thought they should give it another go with this weekend’s match.
In a video posted to YouTube, the llama is seen walking up to two coloured footballs on stands, representing Bayern Munich and the Blues, before picking the Chelsea ball.
Ms Johnson added that head llama Tom is jealous of Nicholas’ new-found fame.
Ms Johnson said: “He’s attracted so much attention at the park since the last match, so who knows what will happen if he gets it right again.”
Nicholas has been tipped to rival German octopus Paul, who became famous for his predictions during the 2010 World Cup.
