A keen runner has set the fastest 100m time at the Olympic Stadium in London.
Christopher Hewitt from Lancing was given the chance to be one of the first to sprint at the stadium, which will see world-class athletes competing over the summer.
He won a place in the race as part of a Twitter campaign created by Powerade, a sports drink.
Mr Hewitt ran a personal best of 11.68 seconds and met Jessica Ennis's coach Toni Minichello for some sprinting tips.
The 21-year-old said: “What an amazing experience.
“It's incredible just to step inside the stadium and get a sense of what the athletes will experience when the Games kicks off this summer, but to be given the chance to run on the very same track has made this day even more special.
“Everyone got into the spirit of the day and I am delighted with my time - I think the top running tips certainly helped.”
