MOST churches would have the decency to consult neighbours when they have a festival.
Two years ago St Peter’s Church in Brighton had a festival which lasted almost a month, with loud music going on until midnight. Those who were part of this festival played music and drank after the finish every night.
After the last fiasco, the church said it would consult local residents before any such event happened again.
But it has not. Common decency should have prevailed and it should have at least forewarned people of this current festival. In future, please consult – don’t drop it on us.
