WE THOUGHT we lived in a decent and lovely neighbourhood near to Queen’s Park in Brighton – but not now.
Every Friday, our box of organic groceries gets delivered by Abel & Cole and left on our doorstep.
But this Friday, the whole box was stolen: fruit, vegetables, ham, burgers, sausages – the lot.
We can appreciate money is tight but stealing from your community is not the answer.
We donate to charities to help people and sponsor a boy and a woman in war-torn countries. We like to try to help where we can.
We would like to think (and hope) the box has fed a family in need.
However, we expect it’s provided someone with a means to make some money, buy drugs and drink the profits away.
names supplied, Queen's Park, Brighton
