Fire crews rushed to Gatwick Airport after a plane reported problems in the air.
The incident happened at around 5:30 pm yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Crawley and Horley waited at the North Terminal for the stricken plane to land, while an engine from Horsham was put on standby.
The plane landed safely but was found to have a hydraulics issue.
